Copyright for all articles published in GATE Press journals belongs to authors. The authors also grant permission to the publisher to publish, reproduce, distribute and transmit the articles.
GATE Press publishes accepted manuscripts under Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0), meaning that anyone may download and read the paper for free. In addition, the article may be reused and quoted provided that the original published version is cited. Authors submitting papers for publication agree to apply the CC BY 4.0 license to their work.
Reproduction of Published Material
Authors must obtain permission to reproduce any published material (figures, tables, or any extracts of text) which is not in the public domain or for which they do not hold the copyright. GATE Press may not publish material from other publications without permission.
In exceptional cases, articles may be accepted under different licenses. If you have specific conditions that do not allow this permission (e.g. those relating to funding), please inform journal editorial team while submission. Exceptions will be at the discretion of the publisher.
Permission should be requested by the authors from the copyright holder (usually the Publisher as early as possible, please refer to the imprint of the individual publications to identify the copyright holder). GATE Press cannot publish material from other publications without permission.
